307 Heater Blower Fix ( Update )

Hi Everyone

Just a small update on the heater blower fix, it has now been over 2 years since I repaired the heater blower harness that is still working without any faults. The fix of cutting off the connector from the harness and soldering new wires directly onto the resistor connection pins and then using block connector to connect the resistor back to the main harness.

Thanks for all the great feedback

Richard

Just to pass on my personal thanks for your advice and guidance regarding this problem. I followed your comments and pictures and successfully managed to fix the very same problem on my own 307, saving a few hundred quid in the process.

Many, many thanks and all the best with your 307, blog and website.

Thank you very much for this tip. I spent part of Saturday cutting my forefinger to bits checking all the fuses in the glove box. First thing Sunday i Googled 307 Peugeot heater blower & your tip came up. After following steps you described & photo captions I couldn't believe it bloody worked.
Though I did have to bend one of the strutts to get the motor out.
